Open Question: Air Force Security Forces?

I am going into the United States Air Force pretty soon, and am currently looking over the available jobs. My ASVAB scores were good, but there are only a select number of positions I can consider going in to. One of them at the top of my list is the Security Forces. I've done a bit of research, and I've come to the conclusion that the hours are long, the vacation is minimal, and most say it overall sucks. However, there have been a few who've had good reviews for it, such as the traveling and the close knit groups within. I can live with the lack of vacation and hours, as everyone will have negatives when it comes to their job. I've wanted to travel, which drew me in from the very beginning, and having close knit groups is always a plus. Now, I want your opinion. Don't hold back; this is my future job on the line.
